I’m David, a comedian and writer based out of NYC, and hopefully you are here because you’re looking for something like that.

If you were here I promise I’d ask questions about you, but you’re not so I’ll talk about myself. I have been a stand up comedian for over fifteen years. I’ve written, performed, and produced three stand up specials, six albums, and several shorts all of which play regularly across Sirius XM’s comedy channels. My comedy has been featured on HBO, Comedy Central, Cracked, Fox, Don’t Tell, and I am a five-time recurring guest on the popular storytelling podcast Risk. My work has been viewed millions of times and has garnered me over negative nine thousand dollars.

Over that time I’ve also freelanced as a copywriter, which has been much more lucrative. I’ve worked in-house for brands like Walgreens and Paramount, at traditional agencies like DDB and UFA, and from my couch for a variety of clients including Case Paper, Basics, Home Chef, McDonalds, Wilson, and more. The work has encompassed everything from conceptualizing and executing full circle marketing campaigns to ordering and picking up pad thai for people with more power and influence. My greatest contributions to the workplace are an easy-going manner, a quick wit, and the ability to lift up those around me. If the role you are seeking requires a ruthless cutthroat monster I am more than happy to be that as well.

I’m almost done. In 2016 I co-founded Comedians You Should Know, an independent comedy club that currently operates several nights a week out of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I book talent, manage staff, curate social media, and work with press. Since its inception we’ve sold over fifty thousand tickets (admittedly some of those were my parents). Over the years I’ve collaborated with cinematographers, audio engineers, directors, and set designers to produce over a dozen comedy specials in the space. In 2024 I partnered with legacy comedy developer Cracked to shoot an ongoing stand up series that is currently streaming across their social channels and has amassed millions of views.
